With more than 40 years of experience in marine and offshore engineering, Arthur has held senior positions at leading companies including Atkins, GL Noble Denton, and DNV. His expertise spans the UK, North America, Korea, Japan, and China.
Prof. Rod Rainey, MA, MSc, DIC, CEng, FIMarEST, FREng
A visiting professor at the University of Southampton, Prof. Rainey is one of the UK’s foremost experts in hydrodynamics and offshore engineering. With nearly 40 years of experience at Atkins, he is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and has authored over 60 papers on marine and renewable energy topics.

A visiting professor at Bristol University, Prof. Quarton is a leading wind turbine engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the wind industry. He established and led the turbine design department at Garrad Hassan where he was responsible for the design of many large wind turbines for customers around the world.
David led the development of the IEC international design standard for offshore wind turbines and was one of the authors of the BLADED computer program, an industry standard for analysing wind turbines.
